Teen Event: Get a Clue at the Dorothy Henry Library, Starting May 15th

May 5, 2021

Adventure awaits for teens at the Dorothy Henry Branch library. Use your wits to figure out 'who dunnit' during this in-person Clue-themed scavenger hunt.

The Premise:

Mr. Body is found dead at the library. It’s up to you to solve the case by determining the answers to these three questions: Who killed him? Where? With what weapon?

Hidden throughout the library are cards featuring:

  1. your favorite literary suspects
  2. various locations throughout the library, and
  3. an assortment of wacky weapons.

How to Participate:

Make an appointment to visit the Dorothy Henry Library between the Ides of May (May 15th) and Sherlock Holmes Day (May 22nd) to put your sleuthing skills to the test. No registration is required.

Using the detective’s sheet provided at the circulation desk, eliminate suspects, locations, and weapons one by one as you find cards hidden throughout the library, before making a final accusation at the circulation desk for a prize.

Mystery Solved:

The solution to the mystery lies in an envelope at the circulation desk marked with an X. One card tells who did it, another reveals the area of the library in which it happened, and the third card discloses the weapon used.
