Valentine's Day is all about love. So why not celebrate it with those you love most? Your family!

Here are six ideas to make Valentine's Day fun for the whole family this year:

1. Plan "love" meals

This doesn't have to be complicated. Make heart-shaped pancakes and sprinkle with powdered sugar, or waffles covered with strawberries. Serve with hot cocoa and you'll be the best mom ever!

Ready for lunch? Break out the cookie cutters and cut sandwiches, quesadillas, or even pizza into heart-shaped yumminess. Have school-aged kids? Add to their lunchbox for a surprise!

2. Post daily appreciation hearts

Your kids will never truly understand how much you love them. But you can try to let them know! Tell them all the reasons you love them with special hearts posted on their doors every day of February. Involve the whole family by having the kids and adults in your house leave hearts with kind words on each others' doors. Need some inspiration? 6. Kid's choice!

Let the kids pick! A Valentine-themed meal, activity, game, craft ...  whatever they want. Let them decide. The important part is that you're spending time together as a family.

Enjoy your true loves on Valentine's Day ... and all year long!
