2019 Kids Summer Reading Rules
Children ages 6 months-entering grade 3 who either have a Sussex County Library card OR have a parent or guardian with a library card, are invited to register for the Summer Reading Program.

1. Register online or at an SCLS branch — registration begins June 24 and ends August 3.
2. First week to collect prizes and submit raffle tickets starts on July 1.
3. Participants are required to read (listen to, be read to, etc.) a minimum of one book per week to receive a prize.
4. Participants must bring their logs into the library each week in order to receive a sticker and a weekly prize:
   
   • 1—5 books read in a week: earns a sticker, prize, and one raffle ticket.
   • 6+ books read in a week: earns a sticker, prize, and TWO raffle tickets.
5. Limit of one prize and two raffle tickets per week per child.
6. Prizes will be raffled off the week of August 5.
7. Prize winners will be notified during the week of August 12.

2019 Tween/Teen Summer Reading Rules
Students entering grades 4-6 (Tweens) and 7-12 (Teens), who are Sussex County Library Cardholders, are invited to register for the Summer Reading Program.

1. Register online or at any SCLS branch — registration begins June 24 and ends August 3.
2. Fill out a raffle ticket for each book you read (or listen to) and bring it to any branch. First day to submit a raffle ticket is July 1 — last day to submit is August 3.
3. Prizes will be raffled off the week of August 5.
4. Prize winners will be notified during the week of August 12.

2019 Adult Summer Reading Rules
Adults age 18+, who are Sussex County Library Cardholders, are invited to register for the Summer Reading Program.

1. Register online, or at any SCLS location from June 24-August 3
   *Adults only, ages 18 and up
   *Must have an SCLS library card
2. Complete one raffle ticket for each book you read (or listen to) and each program you attend. **BONUS – Get extra tickets by completing “Summer Reading Book Bingo!” Pick up a Bingo sheet at any branch or download it here.**
3. Submit Raffle tickets at any SCLS location from July 1-August 3.
   * Prize winners will be notified during the week of August 12.
