18th Annual Pass It Along Day Scheduled for May 11, 2019
Volunteers set to serve their communities across various locations in Sussex County.
LAFAYETTE (NJ) - Pass It Along is set to hold the 18th Annual Pass It Along Day on May 11, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 p.m. Pass It Along Day has grown to become one of the largest one-day service events in Northern New Jersey, empowering over 100 volunteers across 20 sites.
During this time, Pass It Along offers various volunteer opportunities across Sussex County for participants of all ages at various local sites. Sites for the event range from a variety of non-profit organizations, including Stokes State Forest, SCARC, Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, Knoll View Retirement Care, and many more. Projects include painting, landscaping, minor structural repairs, planting gardens, and more. Participants can join individually, or collaboratively as a group. Last year, various groups included ThorLabs, Lakeland Bank, Sussex County Community College, and various high school clubs. This year, the following sites will be available for volunteer opportunities:
