Macaroni KID truly values everything that our libraries bring to our communities...especially our children. Why? Hey, I'm a local mom, too. And I LOVE that I can find, on any given day, something going on that would interest (and be of value to) my kids. Programs and events are available to all ages... from chess clubs to lego experiences, Read to a Dog to walking opportunities, and so much more.
And if that wasn't enough, the Summer Reading programs are simply outstanding and kids seem to really love the activities that go along with the program theme. So, needless to say, you'll always see local library events on the Macaroni KID Sussex calendar.
Sussex County Library is celebrating library card holders by awarding SCLS Prize Packs of library swag - a tote, water bottle, and flash drive.

Get an SCLS library card - 1 SCLS Prize Pack Winner
Obtain a new library card or renew your expired card in September and you will automatically be entered to win. The winner will be randomly drawn and contacted the week of October 4th.
Kids under the age of 18 who get a new card this month will be entered to win a special prize donated by Painted Grape. 1 prize winner per branch.
Find Library Card Will - 6 SCLS Prize Pack Winners
Throughout September, Library Card Will will be hiding in our libraries. Find the Library Card Will image and enter to win by completing a form online or at the circulation desk. Find Library Card Will at each branch each time he moves for more chances to win.

To register for a library card: visit any one of the six libraries in the county system, or register for a library card online. The library card can be used at any of the six county libraries and, through the Open Borrowing Program, the card (after getting an Open Borrowing sticker) can be used at more than 150 libraries, including Sparta Public Library and libraries in Morris, Bergen, Passaic, and Warren counties.
